We had our own separate 3-bedroom bungalow with a full kitchen and laundry. The setup was perfect for our needs and a really great value. There was also a hot tub that we made use of. The location was convenient with a supermarket across the street.

Nothing I didn't like to be fair.

I recently stayed at a hostel in Iceland near the city center and had a great experience. The hostel was spacious and modern, with comfortable amenities such as a modern shower and cozy beds. The 8-bed dorm even had a table inside, which was convenient. The free parking was a bonus, although it could be a bit cramped at times. The hostel was a short 5-minute drive or a 25-minute walk to the center of Akureyri, making it convenient for exploring the city. I would definitely consider staying here again.
One drawback I experienced during my stay was the check-in process. There was an issue with my payment, which took some time to resolve.

Can't fault anything about it.

Amazing receptionist, great location with easy access to city center and nearby supermarket, comfortable and clean rooms, well-equipped kitchen for meal preparation.
Although there were a few drawbacks mentioned in the database reviews, such as the ground floor showers being out of use and the extra charge for linen and/or towels, these did not affect our overall positive experience.

Located in a convenient area, close to the city center and easy to find. Friendly and helpful staff, provided a warm welcome and gave us discount vouchers to nearby restaurants and bakeries. - the facilities were great, especially the showers which were excellent and had different options to choose from.
The room we stayed in was quite small and cramped for a romantic escape. The staff's availability was limited, and there was no one to ask questions or address any concerns during certain hours.

The hostel was very clean and comfortable, with spacious rooms and a well-equipped kitchen. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the check-in process was easy. the hostel had a convenient location, with a supermarket and pizza shop nearby, and it was only a short walk to the town center and bakery.
That you couldn't choose your roommates, but this is not the hostel's fault.

The rooms were spacious and well-furnished, almost like a hotel. We had a big room with lots of windows, a table, mirror, TV, and cupboard. The hostel had great communal areas, including two kitchens and multiple bathrooms. The bathrooms were good and located conveniently throughout the hostel.- The location of the hostel was great, with the bonus supermarket just across the street, making it easy to get groceries and other necessities.
We had some difficulties with the keys, both for the entrance and the rooms. It was quite hard to get in, which was a bit frustrating.

Great room with lots of windows and hotel-like furnishings. Equipped kitchens, clean bathrooms throughout the hostel. Warm and friendly staff. Easy self-check-in with pin code, and a file in the lounge with all the info on the city. Convenient location next to the main road, near the city center and a supermarket.
Lack of a storage option in the room for clothes. Noisy door lock and close proximity to the toilet.

During our recent stay, we were pleasantly surprised by the clean and spacious common areas at the hostel. The facilities were well-equipped, and we especially appreciated the reliable internet access. The location was convenient, with a gas station and grocery stores nearby. Our room was big, and having a wash basin inside was a nice touch. The hostel also had ample parking, which was a plus.
One drawback we encountered was the narrow stairs leading to the crowded kitchen on another floor. It made accessing the kitchen a bit inconvenient.

Absolutely nothing to say about dislikes.
